Beginner initiation fee - no experience

includes a shinai & shinai bag, tenugui, and 1st month's tuition

Beginner Initiation Fee – for those new to kendo. Fee includes your first month’s dues and equipment (shinai, shinai bag, and tenugui).

Experienced initiation fee

initiation fee only - you have your own equipment

Experienced Initiation Fee - for those who have past kendo experience and do not need equipment.

The CHICAGO KENDO DOJO (CKD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the art of Japanese fencing. We offer kendo classes to interested students of all ages.

CKD is a member of the Midwest Kendo Federation and All United States Kendo Federation.
